One does not need to be an official member of the Communist Party to espouse communistic philosophy no more than one needs to be a member of a “Freethinking Society” to think freely. So also President Obama aligns more naturally with communism than he does any aspect of Americanism. That he is the leader of the Democratic Party is also illuminating as to the future of America.
Our elected president espouses a communistic philosophy of life after the order of Marx, Lenin, and especially the 1960’s American version of them, Saul Alinsky. Before entering political office Obama was a proud convert to Saul Alinsky and his Rules for Radicals viewpoints—even instructing in that methodology. A brief examination of Rules for Radicals uncovers a dark foreboding and frightening prospect for Christian America.
Rules For Radicals (Obama’s textbook) reveals the following:
1. Atheism. Communism begins with Atheism, the view that there is no God. Alinsky himself (who died in the 1970’s) was atheistic to the core and successfully manipulated that infidelity into political action. He shows his political breeding by dedicating his book to none other than Satan. The entire treatise is an atheistic screed flowing from that corrupt source. The very definition of communism begins with “militant atheism” and Alinsky reveals his adherence to that throughout. Whittaker Chambers said long ago, “The problem of Communism is not an economic problem, The problem with Communism is the problem of atheism.” Karl Marx made atheism an essential part of Marxism so that he would say, Marxism “cannot be conceived without atheism.” In 1948 the Ten Commandments of communism were published for the Young Communist League. The league was told: “If you are not a convinced atheist, you cannot be a good Communist…” Chou En-lai said at the Bandung Conference in April 1955: “We Communists are atheists …” Someone may point out that President Obama attended a church, and has not publicly espoused Atheism. That is beside the point. Church attendance is mere window dressing, and the church in Chicago he chose is as far from New Testament Christianity is one can get.
2. Lawlessness. Saul Alinsky is exceedingly irreverent, showing extreme disdain for rule of law. Alinsky says “laws are written for those who possess property” to continue to “rule” over those who do not (p. 13,20). These statements echo exactly the sentiments of Vladimir Lenin who said that “Law was the will of the ruling class, which expresses their interests, made into requirements for all.” Lenin even wrote that “he is a bad revolutionary who hesitates before the sanctity of the law in a critical situation and in a time of transition laws have a temporary significance.” One ought keep this all in mind as we witness Obama flouting the rule of law in the immigration debate.
Alinksky’s remarks become abundantly crass as he sneers about “organized religion” (23,43), even insulting Christianity specifically (73). The financial giving taught by Christianity he thinks is for “selfish reasons” (13). He goes out of his way to attack religion (xv) while he himself “plays God.” (6). Inculcating selfishness, Alinsky preaches that one should have a large EGO (79). Obama has apparently learned these lessons well.
3. Private Property. God gives man private property for He forbids stealing or even coveting the goods of one’s neighbor. However, our president, following Saul Alinsky, preaches the opposite. For example, the welfare “system” is not about “caring for the poor” but about “taking from the have’s and giving to the have not’s” (p. 3, THEFT). Global Warming is not even about saving polar bears but about controlling American society and bringing us into socialism. This is vintage communism which tells us that “The private property ownership of the means of production and distribution is the root of all evil. When it is abolished, and the nature of man thereby changed, war, property, greed and such like will disappear.”
4. Communist Dialectic. God teaches that man is a free moral agent (“Choose you this day whom you will serve…”) but the communistic philosophy espouses what is called the “dialectic.” Here is how Stalin described the “dialectic.” “Dialectics comes from the Greek ‘dialego’, to discourse, to debate. In ancient times dialectics was the art of arriving at the truth by disclosing the contradictions in the argument of an opponent…There were philosophers in ancient times who believed that the disclosure of contradictions in thought and the clash of opposite opinions was the best method of arriving at the truth. This dialectical method of thought, later extended to the phenomena of nature, developed into the dialectical method of apprehending nature, which regards the phenomena of nature as being in constant movement and undergoing constant change, and the development of nature as the result of the development of the contradictions in nature, as the result of the interaction of opposed forces in nature.” In other words, history is moving unalterably to a communistic state of things. All events are predetermined by forces of nature to lead to socialism and communism.
Saul Alinsky said this about the community organizer: “the organizer is constantly creating the new out of the old. He knows that all new ideas arise from conflict; that every time man has had a new idea it has been a challenge to the sacred ideas of the past and the present and inevitably a conflict has raged” (79). Thus, Obama believes this society is heading inevitably towards communism.
5. Truth. Consistent with his atheism Saul Alinsky teaches that there is no such thing as Morality or Truth. Truth is non-existent (p. 10); Morality is only “self-interest” (p. 12). Ethics are “elastic” (30-31). The definition of “morality” is that it is only for our own benefit (19,42,55). Right and wrong as eternal absolutes do not exist (29). As a foremost teacher of Alinsky, President Obama would also have to defy any definition of “morality” (73) and insist that there is no such thing as a “right reason” to do anything (76). And since there are no rules (xvii) every person must have “ulterior motives” (94). Let the reader consider this when viewing the political machinations of our current leader and that this is precisely the definition provided by communistic leaders. Truth is that which advances communism. Their leading paper of yesteryear, Pravda (Truth) speaks this way: “Communism vs. capitalism means the truth vs. the lie” (1962). Something is true only if it advances communistic world domination.
6. Power. Jesus instructs that in all of our decisions we are to consider God first, and then our fellow man (Matt. 22:34). At the opposite end of the spectrum is the Communistic view espoused by Alinsky and Obama. Absent of eternal values, something else is their motive for political action. What is it? According to Alinsky, the Community Organizer does not work for the “common good” of man, but POWER. Alinsky is famous for shouting this as the single motive to his students as they pondered why they should organize. It is power, not love (3,10, 99), that moves our president. His Alinsky manuscript therefore, teaches us to consider all of his actions as disingenuous. Thus did Barack Obama in Chicago ashe and his minions infiltrated the Roman Catholic Church for community action (99). To gain this upper-hand, the organizer therefore must “manipulate” others (exceedingly selfish) and produce insincere arguments to swindle the masses (92).
The above facts alone are enough to draw grave concern in the heart of each American. It may be true that many atheists do not live “down” to their lawless creeds, but when those who have been in leadership with the Saul Alinsky world-view are at the controls of power, the future is frightening indeed.
